This will be the first time in years that the Charlie Murphy Band will be playing a New Year's Eve show in Austin instead of out of town! So, don your favorite dancing boots, and bring some good luck to your 2023 by coming on down to the Stardust Club to ring in the new year!

For the past year, Charlie and Melodie have been backing up Hannah Wright, an up and coming singer/songwriter who moved to Austin from Nashville. Recently Hannah decided to move back to Nashville, but plans to come back to play Austin from time to time. After a two plus year long hiatus, the Charlie Murphy Band is back in action! Work is in progress on mixing a live recording, along with recording five originals, and will be released in the near future, so keep an eye out. The Charlie Murphy Band will be playing their first show at the South Austin Senior Activity Center, on South Menchaca, 78704. Some of the band members have played there in other ensembles and have raved over how much fun they have had playing for the senior dancers! Looking forward to this one, for sure!
